The Patient's use of Alternative Medicines should be entered into the Complete Healthcare Record (CHR) as soon as reported. Reports on subsequent usage should be added periodically.

Where the Practitioner suspects that resort to Alternative Medicines may be impacting a diagnosis and treatment the CHR should be updated accordingly.

A Patient's Practitioner(s) should be charged with the responsibility of reviewing and responding to the information provided in the CHR.
